New to therapy?
Here's what to expect.
Therapy is a safe space to share, challenge, and grow. It’s a place where every part of you is welcomed without judgment. With care and compassion, you’ll process painful experiences, explore new ways of coping with past and future worries, and work toward a healthier, more balanced self. Therapy can be raw and complex; you may laugh, cry, or even feel frustration. But it’s also meaningful, transformative, and at times, even fun. When you’re ready, therapy will guide you in facing your fears, worries, and pain, creating a path for healing and self-acceptance.
Is now the right time?
How to know if you're ready.
If you’re reading this, there are parts of you that are ready. You've already taken the biggest step in the process. Deciding to start therapy is much like any significant life decision—it often doesn’t come with a definitive feeling of readiness. Instead, it requires courage and a willingness to take a chance. While hesitation, fear, or doubt are normal, don’t let these feelings hold you back. Listen to that inner voice yearning for change and connection. Embracing this voice may be the first step toward personal growth.

Not ready to talk about "it"?
It's okay.
Therapy is about building a safe environment where you feel comfortable sharing your thoughts, feelings, and fears. This sense of safety takes time to develop. After all, how often do you meet someone new and instantly feel ready to share your deepest secrets?
There are no expectations-- you’ll reach a point where sharing feels natural and safe. Take things at your own pace; your journey is unique, and therapy is here to support you every step of the way.
Next steps.
